New applicants must be a

resident of Spartanburg County

and have no medical coverage

of any kind.

 

Applications are taken in the lobby:

Mondays – 10 am to 1 pm

Thursdays – 1 pm to 4 pm

 

PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING:

 

·      Picture I.D. with current                address

 

·      Social Security card (if                   available)

 

·      Proof of income for all                    individuals in household for          the past 4 weeks

 

·      If no income bring a                        statement from whomever            is assisting/helping you get          by

 

·    Food stamp letter (if                        applicable)

 

·      Disability/Social Security/SSI        award letter (if applicable)

exempt organization; all

donations are tax

deductable. St. Luke’s

receives no direct funding

from any government

source. It relies on

donations, grants, and the

community at large to meet

an annual operating budget

For the month of July, St. Luke's would like to shine the spotlight on Ms. Vivian Williams! Ms. Williams has been volunteering at St. Luke's since 2010 helping out with endeavors to provide healthcare to the uninsured of Spartanburg County through Welvista. Ms. Williams can be found on any given day of the week welcoming patients to St. Luke's with a warm smile and a willingness to serve. St. Luke's thanks Vivian for her loving service.

CLINIC RECEIVES $25,000 FROM REGIONAL HEALTHPLUS

St. Luke’s Free Medical Clinic has received a donation in the amount of $25,000 from Regional HealthPlus (RHP), a network of healthcare providers affiliated with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and over 500 local physicians.  RHP has been serving patients in the Spartanburg area since 1996 and recognizes the great contribution St. Luke’s makes to the community.  Since 2006, RHP’s gifts to St. Luke’s have totaled over $228,000.  “The undying support of RegionalHealthPlus has been crucial to the success of our mission of changing the lives of Spartanburg County residents who lack access to healthcare,” said the Clinic’s Executive Director Patsy Whitney.  Dr. James E. Brown, IV, Chair of Regional HealthPlus said,  “We are proud to support the good work being done at St. Luke’s Free Medical Clinic and consider them a vital part of the safety net for uninsured, low-income residents of Spartanburg County.”

St. Luke’s has received a grant from the Spartanburg Regional Foundation for $12,500 to offset the cost of patient medications.  Executive Director Patsy Whitney is shown with Foundation Executive Director Kristi Caradori and Jamie Hodge, Foundation Grants/Allocations Chair.  We are so grateful for the tremendous support of the Spartanburg Regional Foundation!
