Board of Directors Chair Dr. Chris Nowatka is seen accepting a donation in the amount of $12,500 from Regional HealthPlus (RHP), a network of healthcare providers affiliated with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and over 500 local physicians.  RHP has been serving patients in the Spartanburg area since 1996 and recognizes the great contribution St. Luke’s makes to the community.  Since 2006, RHP’s gifts to St. Luke’s have totaled over $240,000.  Dr. James E. Brown, IV, Chair of Regional HealthPlus said,  “We are proud to support the good work being done at St. Luke’s Free Medical Clinic and consider them a vital part of the safety net for uninsured, low-income residents of Spartanburg County.”

Board of Directors Treasurer Jada McAbee is seen with Executive Director Patsy Whitney accepting a $30,000 grant to help cover the Clinic's pharmacy expenses.  Spartanburg Regional Foundation's generous financial support has been crucial to our success in changing the lives of Spartanburg County's uninsured.

We are so grateful for the Foundation's continued belief in and support of our mission.
